so i have not blogged for a really long time. and i want to get back into it. because one of my heart's desire is to share life via writing.
This past while God has been teaching me A LOT! its kinda hard to take it all in cuz it seems to be so much, so its a shock i haven't been blogging about it all. But the thing I want to share right now is this:
Pursue the passions God has given you. He has equipped each of us with gifts and talents and heart to serve Him to the best of our ability. So don't spread yourself thin. Follow through with all the advice and commands given you from God. Don't ignore Him or get to busy to even hear Him or see Him. Enjoy God. and be confident in your God!
I was inspired by David the boy today...so I will leave you with this:
1 Samuel 17:45-48
"David said to the Philistine, 'You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the Lord Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. This day the Lord will hand you over to me, and I'll strike you down and cut off your head. Today I will give the carcasses of the Philistine army to the birds of the air and the beasts of the earth, and the whole world will know that there is a God in Israel. All those gathered here will know that it is not by sword or sprear that the Lord saves; for the battle is the Lord's, and he will give all of you into our hands..."
David has been equipped by the Lord. As a Shepherd he was prepared, he had killed a lion and a bear to save the sheep, and he has full assurance in His God! Do we have full assurance and confidence in God and in all He has equipped us in?!

Understanding
1 John 5:20
"We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true. And we are in him who is true-even in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life."
So recently God has been kinda given me the realization of how important UNDERSTANDING is. Especially the understanding between people in relationships. I believe that understanding is one of the main foundations under God that holds a relationship together. If there is no understanding between two people, there is dissenion until there is an understanding. So it's majorly important. In my eyes at least. so I've been realizing this, and then the other day I read this verse.
and this is what I wrote in my journal concerning it...(i dunno if i took it correctly or not but I really felt God kinda opened my eyes to this and was rather excited!)
"God has given us understanding..so that we can know Him...the true one! Understanding is for the sole purpose of knowing God more and better. Even in relationships. All understandinng is to know Jesus. So when we are understanding, we are knowing Jesus and showing Jesus...
With understanding in relationships, there is love, no matter what, and that is Truth. That is Jesus. All understanding, all love, all relationships are from God and for God. Understanding is to know the True One. So when we have it, we can know the true one and thats why in relationships, when there is understanding between persons the relationship is so much better cuz it is based on Truth and we are being Jesus, knowing Jesus and loving Jesus."
I hope this makes sense. My mind sometimes likes to make things complicated. But im really excited about this realization of how important understanding is...in every aspect of our lives! with God, with relationships.
I just think its so cool...we have understanding so that we can know Him who is True. May we remember that. and in our relationships...may we have understanding...may we put Jesus in them!
